It's my understanding that this product has been pulled from Coke's lineup of products. If that's true, it's rather disappointing news. As a self-proclaimed "Diet Coke-aholic" I was thrilled when I heard they were adding vitamins and minerals to Diet Coke. While it's no substitution for a well balanced diet (and you still should take a vitamin supplement if you don't get the RDA from your diet), it was an added benefit for someone like myself who drinks a lot of Diet Coke. The addition of vitamins and minerals did NOT affect the taste, so it was the same as drinking a regular can of Diet Coke. As I usually purchase at least 2 cases of Diet Coke each week, I'd buy 2 12 packs of Diet Coke Plus and 2 12 pks of regular Diet Coke and alternate my consumption. Last week I discovered that there was no Plus on the shelves and the place tag for the item had been removed. When I asked our grocery manager about this, he told me he believed that Coke had stopped production of Diet Coke... I DID AN AMAZON SEARCH FOR COKE PLUS VITAMINS & CAME UPON THIS SUPPLIER. I EMAILED THEM ASKING THEM ABOUT MY ORDER OF COKE PLUS VITAMINS & BUYING THEIR LAST CASE OF COKE PLUS VITAMINS & THEM RECEIVING ANYMORE COKE PLUS VITAMINS SO I MAY PURCHASE MORE FROM THEM. THEY ASSURED & AGREED. **** THEIR PRODUCT PICTURE & EMAILS WERE A LIE **** THEY SENT ME DIET COKE & WOULD NOT CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE. I wrote to the Coca Cola Co -no response- and called my local bottler and was told due to lack of interest, that they had discontinued this product. I work as an RN on 12 hour shifts, and would drink about 4 cans a shift. I would feel great after I consumed this drink and miss it immensely. Im not paying 50 bucks for a12 pack, however. |
