I have been on a hunt for a great tasting cherry syrup to add to seltzer water. After trying many brands, this one finally did the trick. It's very flavorful and even has a great aftertaste. I would say the flavor is more black cherry than plain cherry, however. My mother tried a glass of my cherry soda, and she said that it brought back memories of drinking a fresh cherry soda at the drugstore in the 1950's.
